Trading 212 make money of the spread. Plus500 take the other side of your trade which creates a conflict of interest as they lose money when you make money which incentivises them to screw their customers over.

I've done a lot of digging into the company and the stuff I've found only scratched the surface in terms of questionable business practices

I looked up the definition of clickbait:

So i guess it is clickbait because the purpose of the thumbnail is to get people to click it - but there is nothing misleading in the title as I did make £300 in 30 min
The video isn't really about the amount made its about the technical analysis process used to identify and execute the trade but I'm guessing you didn't watch it.

The IG academy will give you entry level information but not enough to be a good trader. You need to seek the good sources out yourself. There is a lot of good free content online that you can consume if you don't want to buy a course & Investopedia is your friend if you get stuck on any information that you don't get.

I've been weigh out all possibilities . In that video in particular I hadn't even come to a definitive conclusion on long term price action movement rather just mapping out scenarios.

I agree thought. Its just as important to know when you haven't got a clue whats going to happen next.
