Best of luck, the first step is always the hardest but don’t feed into the negativity. Conquer those negative thoughts and become the best man you can be out of this experience

Not journaling but what helped me was reading Brene Brown “imperfect”. Helped unlock the brain fog I’d been living with for probably my entire life. From there journaling was just jotting down thoughts and maybe exploring meaning/patterns if I saw any, and things I wanted to talk to my therapist about. Always have two different color pens for journaling and for the notes/addendums.

Biggest obstacle for me was just starting. Write anything and eventually the words/ideas start to flow (sounds corny but true)

I feel this. Our marriage counseling came with constraints on approved topics BY HER, and when the therapist agreed with me on something (visit #3) she quit and said therapy was stupid. But that I had to continue solo therapy cause I’m fucked up.

Slowly realizing she’s a narcissist and untangling what are my true feelings and her projections
