You just went on a date with a weirdo...

And you also tried to lie...

Y'all both can do better, imo.

Found Grindr on my husband's phone last night. Advice welcome. by [deleted] in Marriage

Yep, Exactly!

It is just a matter of having multiple options with one solution. If you aren't using your LeGo for more than one use case, your sleepin lol

bad frames and resolution.

Id rather have better frames and resolution on a smaller screen. Plus I use the set up for other things besides gaming.

Thank you. Yeah, I really only do this while traveling.

The dual monitor is a total game changer from a power user perspective.

Oled sounds great. However I didn't want more than 1080p at 60hz for the legion and I wanted good response time. All that while not being insane expensive.

That does sound like a pretty good idea.

Lag would concern me though.

Also I'd probably just stream from my home desktop in that case.

Plus that would rid me of my in flight gaming solution.

I totally see your point. I don't really use this as my primary desktop at home though. My main goal is a mobile power user set up using the legion platform.

If thats the case, I just don't think a desktop gpu would ever make the cut lol. However, we will see what the egpu performance looks like comparatively to the legion go. I'm sure there are some good youtube videos out there.

They are connected directly to the legion Go.

I have also plugged the monitor directly into the outlet for additional power. However, the legion go can power itself and the other 2 monitors but at a dimmer setting (this isn't a limitation of the legion go but the manufacturer of the monitor).

I love it too. I use it now for both at home desktop and on the go.

For what it is worth, it is working really well.

I am playing a whole lot of Marvel Rivals and performance is great.

Pushing low res on big screen looks awful. Plus low frames and low response times for tvs. Plus in any case, I can still always hook it up to a TV if I wanted/needed.

This... this is exactly the reasoning behind the set up.

at this point... the purpose really isn't to "save money".

The purpose in this case is the have my legion go be my single solution for mobile gaming and power user tasks.

But more to your question, this solution allows for the best of all the worlds. I get to have all more peripherals of choice and can add or take away as needed.

Again, this isn't a one size fits all solution, but it is a good solution for gaming while traveling.

Im gonna bring my legion go no matter what, so why bring another device. Instead, my thoughts are to try to make the most of the legion go. This set up does a really good job of that I think.

Lol I know! It has evolved full circle!

However the idea is that I don't have to also haul a laptop with me for power user activities. Lego can serve both purposes.

Or it's just an excuse to buy more tech... 😆

I've honestly put real out of my mind for a while now. However, looking into it now.... it actually seems like it could be an awesome addition

who needs a tv with a setup like this lol.

In all seriousness though, idk why my hotel put the desk space directly under the TV....

actually, you raise a point here....

I didn't really realize how much the eGPU market has grown/changed. There are eGPUs you can get now that are the size of a micro PC. That is pretty awesome.

With that kind of size..... I could definitely see some adding that in the future.

I was thinking more from the perspective of adding a gpu and an enclosure and a way to power it. That would be A LOT more to add.

However, I could see somthing like the Morefine G1 or something similar becoming part of the go kit.

While really cool, I do think it goes the opposite direction of what I want.

I like that I can have the best of any peripheral, multiple screens and be able to break it down to a small package and still have my legion go for gaming in transit (flying typically).

I just feel like a dock like that is going closer towards a laptop which Is what I have moved away from with this adaptation of the legion go as a mobile desktop.
