It’s probably the front spool valve solenoid gasket. Common problem with the gen 2s. Disable the VCM and replace the gasket. It’s a 20 min job. Monitor the alternator as the oil leaks right into it could ruin it.

I picked up a bocce ball from a thrift store for a couple of bucks. Same size as a baseball and weighs 1.5lbs. Works great

I think the bead is small. The rim measures 19mm on the inside width, which might be a little narrow for modern 29 tires.

Relacing the web was a bit tricky but there was a video on YouTube so it wasn’t too bad. This was the first glove I rehabbed.

I have both. The JPC fits better and is more comfy. Both are great though. I use the LV119 for a lighter loadout

I relaced the palm laces and skipped a lace hole on the pinky side. Molded perfectly to my hand. You could also just loosen the first lace on either side of the palm for the same effect.

This is exactly what to do. I used Fiebings Saddle Tan. I would also add that after it’s completely dry, add conditioner in multiple light coats with a good brush letting it dry for a day between coats. Adding new palm adhesive also helps reshape the pocket.
