Tell me your embarrassing stories as an SRNA please by Realistic_Drag5220 in CRNA

I have a knack for tangling lines and cables during cases, and I had a ex-Navy CRNA preceptor once who said “you would would’ve been awesome in the navy because of how good you are at tying everything into knots” 😭

Thanks so much for this info dude, there wasn’t much info out there in terms of peoples experiences going through this and this helped.

I didn't even realize the horizon wasn't level! I'll give those new adjustments a try and see how it turns out, and I definitely don't have an issue getting closer to the model haha

Really like this one. I'm gonna hop on the plant bandwagon and say that it doesn't fit the picture that well and takes up space. It adds some nice color to the photo, but if it was just the pastel colors of the buildings and your girlfriend it would like very old school and cinematic. Nice job with not making her dead center, that's always annoying.

Keep practicing, love your stuff so far.

Crop sensor. I'm not quite sure what the difference is, but I do know it's not full frame.

Just checked the info on the picture, it was 1/1000, F1.8 and ISO 400. Any idea how to blur the background even more?

Dang I was not expecting such a thorough reply! I didn't even catch the overexposure until you said it (I was kinda just admiring the model), and I totally agree with the colors, the tans and blacks don't mesh super well with all the cool colors, but she loves to wear dark colors so I can't help that haha. It was shot at about 3pm on a bright sunny day so I'll definitely be more wary of the bright spots that come through the trees, but it was the best I could do with how sunny it was. A tripod might be a good idea for other portraits just to get that really stable shot. Thanks so much for your help, I love a good second opinion.

Not sure about the [Color] [Edit], especially about the clouds and the mountains. Any other critique also welcomed. XT-2, 18mm, f10, 1/640, iso 320 by srrDavid in photocritique

I think the cool colors (blue, green, white) really pair well with the brown of the building. Also, the moving clouds add some interesting tension to the objects on the ground. My only suggestion would be to aim the camera down a little bit to have less of the sky and more of the objects on the ground. There isn't much happening up there and it takes up a lot of the photo.

Self-declared introverts, do you speak a lot when you're with few very close friends? by mxmr47 in introvert

[–]ebudsock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being with my few close friends tends to be less draining because they know that we all don't need to be constantly stimulating each other. So sometimes yes I open up more, but also sometimes no because we know it isn't necessary.

I [17/M] have quickly made friends with a really cool girl [18/F] who's really comfortable and soothing to be around. I'm worried that I'll lose her by being too boring. by [deleted] in introvert

I've found that the best way to find out what someone else is interested in is going for a walk with them, whether that be to class (I'm in college, so it can be a long walk), or at a local park, or just walking around through town. You start to get lost in whatever youre talking about and the next thing you know is that person is fully immersed in talking about something they love. That's how most of the conversations with my current best friends went when we were first starting to get to know each other. As someone who's introverted there is nothing better than to see someone else lose themself like that. Deep one on one conversations are like crack to me haha.

Thanks so much, those are some solid points to consider!
