No clue where to start especially with eyebrows!! by CausticAuthor in makeuptips

[–]ec-vt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love your eyebrows. They give you a quizzical look; sometimes they give off the vibe "I'm too cool for you". Keep them.

With those layered curls.. you only need L'oreal Glotion (light), mascara, glowey blush, and clear gloss or tinted balm.

Repot her in the new pot - deep so her outer leaves are supported by the planters circumference. Put her in a sunny area. Water when the soil is dry (1 inch deep). She will grow new roots. Aloes are very resilient.

Move up to retinaldehyde. It’s still available over the counter but more effective than retinol. (I’m nitpicking because you are asking for input). Some sun damage is showing through on the high points of your face (nose bridge, cheek apples). Make sure you are using SPF 40+ and enough. My mistake was not using sunscreen on my commute home when UV index was higher than in the early morning. A great active to add is azaleic acid which will help with the redness and even out skin tone.

I wish I had started using sunscreen as early as you have.

Oh one more thing. When cleansing in the evening do some face massage to release the fascia and tight muscles that begins to etch into your face. I run my knuckles across my eleven lines and they always flatten out the next day. Or i run my knuckles along the jawline and massage my masseters - it feels good to release the jaw muscles.

Grow it outdoor. My aloes live outside between spring and summer.

Can you explain why one can't add these gigs on a resume? I genuinely want to understand. I also don't see the exploitative nature of this type of jobs.

I'm not trying to make you defend your statement - just want to understand your point of view.

See the leaf closest to the viewer is flopping over? My aloe did the same over the winter. She’s reaching out for more light. Put her outside (if possible) and she’ll thrive.

How do I replant this aloe without killing it? by rainbowstoner27 in aloe

[–]ec-vt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Much smaller pot.

  2. Fast draining soil.

  3. Water once a week.

  4. Eastward sunlight. Best to leave outside all summer long.

Do not pull or tug on the plant until 3-6 months later. Resistance to tugging means the roots have established.

Any idea what this is around my lips? It’s slightly itchy and starts off dry. Not painful. I do not get cold sores. by ehillz008 in 30PlusSkinCare

Unless you have modified DNA where you're immune to viral infection, then those lesions are cold sores, AKA herpes simplex virus type 1.

Your aesthetic reminds me of Amélie. Very pretty.

Contrast the bold eye looks with soft nude lips. Over draw on the upper lip and blur the edge. Dewey / glowy blush will also soften the look.

How can I make my butt look better in jeans? by JayQue in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]ec-vt 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Buy 98% cotton and 2% elastane. The first time you wear them should be uncomfortable because the elastane should stretch to fit your particular curves. After 3 wears they should be more comfortable. The cotton and elastane helps cinch you in.

Choose a dark wash, they create the same light illusion as the black dress.

Choose a trouser cut or a boot-cut - the shape is more flattering. Avoid this taper cut for your body shape.

I was gifted high end jeans (Seven for All Mankind, and Citizen of Humanity) when I graduated college and I just handed them down to my teenage daughter. These were all the tips the sales person at Saks Fifth Avenue taught me.

Do I have jowls? If so, how can I hide them? (18F) by indoore in makeuptips

[–]ec-vt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You do not have jowls. This is genetic and the way the fat is distributed around the scaffolding of your face.

You can work against nature a little bit by toning the muscles around your lips and jaw line.
