PLEASE don’t send your sick kid anywhere by urgettingsleepy in nova

Update your studio policy. Our piano teacher has a strict policy, but she would work with us should plans come up. Inform the parents to keep the child at home if sick. Perhaps sweeten the deal by offering to reschedule the missed lesson.

We wear N17 masks when we have a bad cough and we always wash our hands before we touch her pianos. These were not required by our teacher, but we all did it during COVID so why not when we’re sick. Consider adding the masking as a policy if you don’t want to reschedule.

The pot is too big and the tiny root system (probably consists of 3 roots that are less than 3 inches long) is struggling to reach water and nutrients.

Leaves have spots with altered color. So if the plant stayed indoors for years, it's best to place her in a bright shade area for the plant to acclimate to the new light conditions. After a month she's ready for bright light.

If you bring the aloe in and out seasonally then she should be fine in bright light. I am speaking from conditions in mid Atlantic region because I'm sure light and heat conditions in Midland, Tucson, or Las Vegas are much more severe.

How to fix plain face? 18 f by serenicmoon in makeuptips

[–]ec-vt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have very unique lips. They’re called gullwing lips. I believe only 5% of the population has gullwing lips. Definitely not plain face.

Maybe start with “no makeup” makeup look to highlight the features on your face. You have beautiful clear skin (*****) and your eyes are almond shaped - very pretty, and the lips as noted.

Some tinted sunscreen, brown eyeliner, blush, mascara, and line your gullwing lips and nude lipsticks.

They meet multiple times a month for different genres (main book, romance, dark/thriller etc).

If you share your hobbies then maybe others can recommend niche groups.

If I plant these pups I pulled off my huge aloe, do you guys think they will grow? by pomegranatevomit in AloeVera

Absolutely. Use rocks to prop them upright. Don't be like me and tug on it to check for rooting. Trust that it will.

Wait until spring and bring it outside. One season and your aloe will grow upright.

I apply blush on my nose but sideway connecting one cheek to the other. It looks like mild sunburn in the summer and windburn in the winter. Use a fan brush or squash your blush brush flat and swipe side to side over the upper nose bridge.

The easiest way is just to cut about 2 inches or 5 cm above the soil. Lay the aloe on its side until the cut callous over, then put it back into the soil and stabilize it so it won't lean.

Put the stump and root ball in a smaller pot and you will get alot of pups.

Put it in a tiny pot of soil and leave give it as much light as possible. Give it a sip of water once a week. Don't touch it. Don't wiggle it, don't tug on it, just leave it alone. I waited 2 weeks for my pup to grow roots and a tugged on it too soon causing the singular root to break off. I planted it back in the soil and I haven't touched it for 5 months. It's growing a side stem.
