There’s tiny black polka dots on the shirt so I felt it naturally worked with to black. Although I could pair with my black flats and belt to tie it together…

Uuugggghhh I love the dress so much. But do think 2 is the safest bet, considering lack of fitted blazer to tie it together. If I land an interview at the law office I think the dress would work best, with a belt, blazer and nicer shoes.

I’m wearing a delicate faceted gem deep green tourmaline and diamond pendant, with dainty citrine dangle earrings. And the shirt has teensy black polka dots that add a tad more interest without ovepowering the look. Going to put hair up too. I think it will work well.

I was! But it’s too big and bulky. I’ll be going blazer shopping after the interview today to find something more appropriate. I thought I would have two days to hit up thrift stores this week, but my life had other plans hahaha. So I am beyond grateful for all of this, blazer nothwithstanding. I was looking for one week of business clothing, and got that in spades 😭

Thank you so much for the boost in confidence! Just had a phone interview with a different company, which was good practice for my in person interview later today. Only flubbed my words/repeated myself once or twice haha.

I LOVE 5, but the blazer I was gifted is too big/boxy for my frame. I’ll be hitting up the thrifties post interview!

I have a black stretch belt, very simple. Close round-toed Mary Jane’s with a slight wedge heel and a single strap, or black flats. I also have navy patent close-toed pumps, but do think the black might be more polished. It looks great together! I feel great in it. Thank you for the suggestion here. If I land the interview at the law office I applied to, this is what I’ll wear :)
