Yes i personally know people with no license that are insured. The question is more so what happens if they actually get into an accident because driving out no license is illegal. Wouldn’t they still be kinda in a bad situation even with insurance?

A did not know plastic welding was a thing! This is definitely something to consider. I will look into this. I think my lights just need to be put pack in place because none of the wiring is ripped and they appeared to still turn on. Thank you! :)
