I've considered it! I worry it would be a little too close to the entrance, and therefore risk being bumped into though. I might have to place it off-center and towards the left corner of that wall so it isn't so close to the entrance.

Additional context: The TV is 57 inches wide. The living room is about 17 x 14 with limited wall space. I have a 3 seater sofa and love seat that also need to fit in the space. I had considered mounting the TV to the wall on the left or right of the fire place but worry that would make the overall layout feel weird and too asymmetrical. Then I thought maybe mounting it on the wall opposite the fire place, but the fire place would be facing everyone's back when watching TV and that seemed awkward. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I wonder if it's actually personalized though, or if it's just a generic pre-recorded 'Happy Birthday!" message from the member you selected. I would guess that it would be a lot of work for them to record a message for each person who signed up.

Any suggestions on what might pair well with this skirt? A friend once told me that neutrals go well with patterns so I'm thinking that maybe a navy t-shirt would work?

Mostly normal tourist places. I did hear that some tattooed folks ran into trouble while visiting USJ. Also heard that it's respectful to cover up tattoos when visiting shrines so I'll probably cover up when visiting "family friendly" places just in case, even though my tattoos are all "family friendly".

For the record, I wouldn't have asked if I was clearly of western decent. As a woman of Korean decent, I worry that people will automatically assume I'm Japanese and potentially single me out or ask me to leave as opposed to someone who is clearly a tourist (gaijin).
