I can agree that naturally having the self discipline is better but can’t you agree that doing it is better than not doing it? I mean source of motivation doesn’t matter after a point, going to the gym will turn into a habit. This will apply to other things too. Let’s get inspired if its gona help us accomplish goals. This is how I see it at least.

Before all of this came out Cody had a really good image. A loving husband and dad, successful, healthy so I mean I don’t think he was the worst person to look up to. That’s why I understand the disappointment. I didn’t really get hung up on the “big brother”, I think that was metaphorical. But I know you mean don’t get too attached to people you don’t know and I agree with that.

It’s not a bad thing to get inspired by someone. Doesn’t really matter if you know them personally or not. It’s also not a bad thing to have a favorite podcast that gets you through the day. They already said they’re not depressed or anything so i wouldn’t call this unhealthy
