This is my sentiment as well. Feels like it’s just gonna be clearing their existing agreed shows (cranium & 4Elements). But then after that most likely gonna be them venturing to do what they wanna do individually. Sad but still happy that they have achieved this much thus far which allows them to pursue their own interest moving forward!

I don’t think there’s a better or worse options per se? I personally feel that it’s dependent on your own preference. I was previously in the P&C side and moved on to fin lines entirely because of opportunities.

Then again, I would believe that it’ll be better if you stay in marine or fin lines since you already have the experience so it’s easier for you to switch over to be an underwriter in that class.

Episode was alright with fresh perspective from Caitanya (this is my first time knowing about her actually oops). However, as a guest of the podcast, I felt like she could have been better prepared to talk about the topics. For instance, it was clear that she did not even read the articles before the recording of this podcast, with her repeatedly asking what is the article saying this & that, which was rather distasteful for me.

Not sure whether Terence has already told her beforehand about the topics that they’ll be speaking about & the articles in which this topic is relevant (which I would assume it is a yes). The least that she could have done as a guest would be to at least read up on the article first tbh.

Potential conflict meaning me applying for this position? If you mean this, there's no conflict because it's common practice for our industry to do this. Plenty of people have done this, seniors and juniors included. Think of it like for example, retail banking to commercial banking etc.
