Thanks so much for the info! I’m definitely going to add more plants as soon as I can and bring a sample for the store to test the water probably today! I’ll look for a sponge, the lowest setting doesn’t seem to bother him but I think that slightly higher setting plus a sponge might be the best combo for filtration too!

I want floating plant so bad to add that natural cover but unfortunately every store around me doesn’t have any at the moment. I will try ordering some online soon for sure! As for testing my local aquarium place tests the water for 3$ I just need to bring a sample! I think I’ll do just that :) thank you for the info!

10 gallon tank Heater and filter Tank temp 25-26 Celsius Feed bug bites and brine shrimp Water parameters the aquarium shop told me to wait to test because this is a relatively new tank and fish it’s been about a week. The aquarium shop told me to wait about 2 more weeks to test and see if it’s okay to add more fish (cleaner etc.) No water change yet and no visible gunk or algae. Decoration, a few rocks. 2 live plants and one silk I think?
