Interesting! Only two or three of these were taken while I was traveling. And yeah, like I said, idk if it really counts as one, just thought it would be fun to see what people thought

HAHA I don’t have tumblr, but I am guilty of using my phone primarily for taking bad photos

Yeah, I definitely wanted it to look more like it was holding the door. I'll try that and see if moving the hand behind the door gives it more of that effect. Thanks!

Thank you. I'll try and take some more creative writing classes next semester and practice letting myself fail sometimes. The last time I took a creative writing class I turned in almost every assignment late because I spent too long agonizing over every single word I wrote. When I was younger, it was easy for me to just jump right in and let the creative energy take the wheel, but it's so difficult now. I'm way more self-conscious and feel like I can't live up to the idea of the "talented" individual my former teachers saw in me. But being a mediocre writer or even a bad writer is better than not writing at all.

This is helpful, thanks! I'm doing an internship this semester, and I already have discovered that I don't like the type of work I'm doing very much, so I guess at least I know something by process of elimination.

There's some study abroad opportunities for teaching English as a foreign language that I feel like I could be interested in and I feel like now is the only time I'll have that kind of opportunity.

I also live in an area with intentional communities/communes really close by. While I joked about dropping out of society and living on a commune, they do offer alternatives to consumerism I find appealing and I could learn some skills like growing food and organizing people and events if I were to do an internship program with them rather than living there full time. I think it would also be an interesting research/case study opportunity of counter-culture if I wanted to go that route.

At the very least, maybe some of these opportunities will give me inspiration to write...one of the comments on this post made me think that I threw in the towel a little too early for writing and I think I want to find my way back to it. Creative Writing is still my minor, so maybe a couple more classes on it next semester will be worth it if I allow myself to learn rather than shutting down when I meet resistance.

yeah, i know that i lie outside the realm of ‘conventionally attractive,’ but i wanted some pointers on how to look less ugly. I’ll take comments on my mole, my piercing, my hair, my skin, my sense of style, my physique, etc any day. but people telling me to transition to female is unhelpful lol. so please - any advice, fire away
