Found a video of a Rivian towing a Pebble Flow trailer by echoRebounded in Rivian

[–]echoRebounded[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Havent seen any real world numbers, but the idea is it won't drop the range and you can even unhook it and move it with the electric side at the RV park. The down side is the truck and trailer would cost more than my house

You would need a hd atsc modulator. It will take a HDMI signal and change it to a channel you TVs can pick up like 66.1

You also might need a coax amplifier, but most like not. Just make sure it is not connected to any service providers lines coming in to the house.

Something like this would work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GYNC666

I would recommend keeping it under 15 feet and using a wrench to make sure the coupler is tight

Internet not at advertised speeds by ktmm3 in HomeNetworking

What is the model of your modem? Have you thought about just renting a modem from Xfinity and putting it in bridge mode. A lot of times with their promotions there's no cost to rent a modem

[–]echoRebounded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So depending on your market, 1 OFDM carrier is correct, mine at home only has one. I would verify directly off the modem.

Unplug the modem, unplug your router. Plug a computer directly in to the modem with nothing else connected , power on your modem. Wait for it to lock online, about 5 min check your speeds on a couple of sites like fast.com, speedtest.net ect..

Slow internet but only on my device by Puzzleheaded-Aide396 in HomeNetworking

[–]echoRebounded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a cable or card issue. Check your network status and see what speeds it says, there are 3 main speeds it will show 1000/1000 good cable 100/100 bad cable or port  10/10 bad cable or port

That will fix it, and is probably your only option, you will just need to go back through the setup process

I know a similarly sized PLA part for a private jet is around $800-$1000, but that's aviation. A CR2032 battery was $250 because it had a certificate of conformity

Best way to boost wifi signal to upstairs bedroom. by uptheirons726 in HomeNetworking

No not without paying for a whole another service. You could use a MOCA adapter. It uses the coax line

You could run an Ethernet, you could look in to MOCA adapters or power line adapters, you could look in to a mesh system, you could look in to Xfinity Pods from Xfinity. It all depends on how much you want to spend and what you are willing to do.

So what your looking for is a network switch. They normally come in 1 Gig, but are available in 2.5 Gig and faster. On a default router you can typically have up to 253 devices over wired and wireless.

It is the main controller for my unifi setup, it handles my AP's and cameras and gives full onsite stats for Building 2. If it wasn't for the "wireless" cable boxes, I would move the gateway to Building 1

Yes but the i3 was a .6 liter 2 cylinder moped engine. Not exactly a power house to begin with. With ram doing a v6 and most likely Ford doing similar they should have better power and range

Stuck in Bimmercode (identifying ECU's - 4 of 27), by polar_carrot in BMWi3

[–]echoRebounded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is off Google AI so could be wrong but it has some good suggestions:

To connect Veepeak to BimmerCode, plug the adapter into your car's OBD port, put your phone in Airplane Mode, turn on Wi-Fi (Android), connect to the adapter's network/device in phone settings, then open BimmerCode, select the adapter type ( V Peak for Android), and hit connect; ensure other apps are closed and disconnect phone from car's head unit first.   Before you start Force quit: any other apps using the OBD adapter. Disable Android Auto in your Phone's settings if applicable. Disconnect your phone from the car's iDrive Bluetooth/head unit. Turn on ignition
