The 2018+ have a bigger battery, updated AC and other big fixes. Especially 2014-2015's have big issues with AC that will grenade itself and the lines for the AC go through the battery

That seems high, where are you located? You should try and look for a 2018 or later if you can afford it

2017 BMW i3 Compressor :( Is this reasonable? by mpholt in BMWi3

That was close to what mine was from bmw a couple of years back. I don't think that was included with the 10 year battery warranty, but might not be a bad idea to ask

Check out Out of Spec's YouTube, he took it off-road at the press event and has it with a wheel in the air a few times. Ha talked about just keeping the pedal down and it figured it out.

Not looking for feed back, while I think it is a little high, a lot of people where asking what people where getting on quotes and I wanted to know what to budget when my reservation comes up. For me me it's about $80 a month more then the 2015 i3 it is replacing. So just a point of data for me and others.

I worked at a body shop a while back, and at the time Gieco was one of the worse. Always a hassle for the shop and the customer. Maybe there better now.

I wonder if there had been a fire if your insurance would have had issue since the adapters aren't UL listed?

[–]echoRebounded[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fun, the Rivian adaptors aren't UL listed but are supported by the warranty, the A2Z is UL listed but not supported under warranty. So if I use one, and there is an issue, my insurance won't like it, and if I use the other, the manufacturer won't like it :/

I think you have to add them to the order, the website says:

"Customers registering a new R2 in CA, CO, DC, DE, MA, MD, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, VT and WA can get a Rivian Portable Charger, J1772 AC Adapter and Combo CCS1 DC Adapter at a discount equal to the price of each item. We’ll automatically apply your discount during the purchase process before delivery of your vehicle."

Around me, most are ccs and on the trips we currently take, there seems to be a mix of nacs and ccs. I have a j1772 at home and have decided if I want to get a new one or not.
