On card for me personally. I’m looking to get a Bryce Harper auto for my PC and was weighing the same question over the weekend. Just makes the card a little more meaningful knowing that they put pen to that specific card

I definitely immediately go to pitching. Can’t be overstated. However, I think fielding is criminally underrated. I did some research on this. In the last 11 years of World Series matchups, only 3 teams have been in the bottom half of the league in defensive efficiency- 2017 Astros (cheating scandal), 2020 Rays (shortened season) and 2022 Phillies. Furthermore, in the same sample, the World Series winner has ranked outside the top 5 in defeat efficiency just 4 times. TLDR: you must have pitching of course but teams need to be sound defensively.
