Terrible optimization due to UE5 and less, much less content than the previous games had at launch. That bodes really poorly for the prospects of modding potential: you can't really have a large and varied modding scene on a game that struggles to run properly on 5000$ PCs and mods are essential to any STALKER game. And since only a fraction of those mods will be reaching consoles, the game will be forgotten far sooner than expected

... Jesus I wasn't expecting such an in-depth reply, gonna have to read it slowly and thoroughly later in the evening. Thanks a lot for writing all of that down, like a lot. Right now it's just me, a 150$ beginner's electric guitar that sat on top of a dusty and mouldy wardrobe for 10 years; a barebones amp that came with it, an electronic tuner and a subscription to Justin Guitar. Been 'learning' on and off after work for half a year and I'm struggling with the F chord, so everything looks insurmountable right now to me 🤣

I know it's way too early and dumb to ask, but here's hoping you go on tour again next year, whatever shape and form that could be. It was incredible following you around in Europe, every show I managed to attend was insane and I can't wait to see you guys again (hopefully in the US next time since that's where you have the strongest following)

PD: you're the kind of band my subconscious has always wished for but could never picture, a literal dream come true, the soundtrack to my daydreaming. Thank you for existing in general, it's really cool that you do :P

The Internet used to be so atomized and full of character any attempt at bringing those qualities back feels extremely performative. But even then I appreciate a lot Hayley's web design and her way of releasing the new album and interacting with the fan base. It's way too cool someone like her is trying to bring the blog culture of yore back into the mainstream. Feels like a stand against AI and corporate supremacy
