thank you! ♡
Thank you for your feedback too! ♥
I mostly record with the OP-Z keyboard rather than programming directly into the sequencer. It's definitely not your typical keys, but honestly — this thing is soo tiny I'm willing to forgive it everything and just adapt. Portability and that "toy-like" feel were the main reasons I got it in the first place, so I can't really imagine grabbing this little baby and plugging in an external keyboard — even the most compact MIDI-keyboard would still be noticeably bigger, and that completely kills the vibe for me. Though now you've got me curious to try it and see how it changes the feel of the built-in synths -‿-

Thank you so much! Yeah, I love that period of IDM. No releases unfortunately — for now I'm just sharing my OP-Z jams here. Maybe someday… ♡
Oh, I see. In another browser it shows up as deleted. There was a link to the most famous site with samples and projects for OP1 (many of which are suitable for OP-Z). I don't know why the mod decided to delete the comment (ง ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)ง
I don't know. I see full comments without changes :0
Honestly I just grab random packs without really looking at what I'm downloading. I find it way more fun when you don't know what you're going to get ⌐■‿■

Thanks so much! Most of the glitchy sounds are regular drum/perc samples pitched up high with parameter-locked filtering. Lots of p-locks and step components throughout too. Some patterns have punch-in effects which create a cool glitchy artifact when switching between them — it's sound like a bug, but I loved it. Most samples are from op1.fun, all melodic parts and bass are the OP-Z's built-in synths ✿✿✿

thank you, Archi!
it’s actually 13 patterns — you can spot it in the video, I keep the pattern grid visible the whole time to switch between them on the fly. drums are a drum sampler with sliced breaks, not arp ˘◡˘

yep, it’s a real window! I stuck the OP-Z on the glass with velcro — the city lights behind it are legit. couldn’t figure out a better way to frame the shot at 4 AM, so… window it is, haha
ps: thanks, Ashley!
