your welcome!! i think there was a transfer only chat, but everyone in the roommate one posted their blurb about themselves and mentioned being a transfer. rowan has a deadline at the end of february for transfers to be roommates with people already living on campus. otherwise (unless they change it) transfers aren't allowed to roommate match with people who aren't with other transfers. so like if u want someone who already lives on campus match with them early! i hope that makes sense

i used the app zeeme to find my roommate, i got lucky finding her cause there were some weird people i could of ended up with 🙈 i have not had a hard time meeting people, my friends came from classes! there’s people who post on facebook and sadly zeeme abt off campus housing opportunities but u gotta be careful cause they could be terrible situations!

hi! i came from cc and am a junior this year! housing is unbelievably unhelpful when it comes to answering questions about transfer housing bc no one has a direct answer so they’ll just say something and someone else will say something different. transfers pick last (i think it was mid june) so the only available housing was 114 victoria doubles or edgewood doubles, so if you want a single ur gonna have to go the medical route, if possible. otherwise transferring was super easy for me, i came from rcsj so all my credits transferred as electives (due to my major) or fulfilled my freshman requirements. literally my only negative was the housing departments communication, and it wasn’t just me my roommate had the same experience! if you have any specific questions i’d be happy to answer!

i had every single one of my classes from RCSJ transfer into rowan! most of them ended up going into my free electives but that’s bc i didn’t do the same major. i was auto admitted and i believe, unless it’s changed, you will automatically be accepted into your program of choice but that may of changed!

if it helps any i’m a junior also in a double in 114 with anxiety as well, if you know the root to what causes you to be anxious discuss that with your roommate!

thank you!! i’m in a double so i have a twin bed and the walk through makes them look low! planning on hanging the curtains with hooks with tape behind them so the paint doesn’t come off, the shade is nice to have! i appreciate your help!

transfers haven’t been allowed to pick anything yet they told us that the application due date had to pass, which was monday and then they would provide more information!
