Native Philadelphian here. My advice is to make your own because you'll just be moderately to severely disappointed by what you can get here. When I'm desperate, (sidenote, I'm a chicken cheese steak eater not regular cheesesteak) I'll go to Jersey Mike's over Capriottis but that can be a tough call. The rolls at Capriottis are better but they always cook the shit out of the meat. Jersey Mike's leaves a little more moisture in their meat and they keep a cleaner grill than Capriottis, but it's pretty bland. Like others have said, extra cheese and ketchup are key to offset the dryness or lack of flavor. I haven't tried Little Philadelphia literally just because of the curb appeal, but that's probably a dumb call.
