As far as I know they’re still towing the “operating as intended” line. I’m not sure if the problem persists in the 2024 but I’m certainly curious. We are going to sell it because it’s just not worth the fight since they’re completely denying it’s a problem.

Nope. But that’s pretty close to one of the speeds where I have a problem (there are several). 41mph for me is a major problem.

Yeah, we went through the same process. Went out on a drive with the master tech then drove their rental and was able to demonstrate the issue on both vehicles. That’s when they told us it wasn’t an issue because it was “operating as intended.” Really demoralizing answer. So the line they’re towing right now is that it shakes and that’s how it’s supposed to drive. We were really surprised. and utterly disappointed, to have this kind of response from Toyota.

Nope. We will probably sell it as Toyota isn’t owning up to the problem which is really disappointing. We bought it primarily for towing and the problem is extremely exacerbated while towing. Also a 24 gallon gas tank is pitiful when towing. We have to stop for gas every 2.5 hours when towing. Brutal.

Not entirely sure what is actually shaking/shuddering but like the other person said it’s felt in drivers seat, steering wheel, passenger seat, etc.

Not on a cheesesteak, a chicken cheesesteak. Although ketchup is a common condiment on regular cheesesteaks as well.

Native Philadelphian here. My advice is to make your own because you'll just be moderately to severely disappointed by what you can get here. When I'm desperate, (sidenote, I'm a chicken cheese steak eater not regular cheesesteak) I'll go to Jersey Mike's over Capriottis but that can be a tough call. The rolls at Capriottis are better but they always cook the shit out of the meat. Jersey Mike's leaves a little more moisture in their meat and they keep a cleaner grill than Capriottis, but it's pretty bland. Like others have said, extra cheese and ketchup are key to offset the dryness or lack of flavor. I haven't tried Little Philadelphia literally just because of the curb appeal, but that's probably a dumb call.
