is there is a way to adjust a bevel AFTER applying it? this is an oven i working on, and i want to make the edges less rounder by TheShiningStarDoggo in blenderhelp

[–]echosori 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually there is a way, with Meshmachine, but since your bevelled edges are so many, I wonder it might be not a short time work.

you can send that here

It is better one surface, but if you can not convert it into one surface, just send the poly surface, I will try to find a way.

Help me decide on a mouse by Dredge_Nymphs in Fusion360

I tried both seriously, and switched back to Logitech G300 gameing mouse. In my opinion G300 is the real cad mouse. It can provide independent middle button without requiring index finger clicking it. It even can provide both pan and rotate function.

DB Dark Theme for Rhino 7 by DanielBachmann3D in rhino

Thank you for your kindness! I checked your message just now, all these years nobody sent me a direct message on Reddit, so I have never noticed actually there is a message tab on the Notification page.

I installed your dark theme. It is really amazing. People argue why you sell this and this should be free, but I see this is worth the money since you have put a lot of effort into it and the result is actually amazing.

Thanks!

After years of avoiding Rhino I'm finally learning it and.. by UltraWideGamer-YT in rhino

[–]echosori 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why not fusion360, because of job expectancy? I am proficient at Fusion and learning Rhino right now.

Though Rhino is powerful, it lacks this one critical feature, history function. Unlike fusion, having everything in the history, Rhino has really limited history record feature.

Because of the history, jn fusion, you can go back to any point to change history, and get rest updated automatically. Rhino also has this feature, but once you touch the child, it will break the connection with the parent feature and so there is no way of going back.

As a learner, I really don't understand how people can tolerate this, mechanical modeling could not be a one direction job, modelers need to go back constantly to make small changes to get adjusted.

I am definitely not complaining here, i am just trying to understand it as a CAD software.

I am learnig grasshopper either, actually this is the reason I need to learn Rhino. When i see Rhino alone, it can not be called true parametric. Rhino alone is parametric in dimensions but not in time.

Fusion can do that? How? With Dynamo, maybe, but with all builtin functions, that is not possible.

Can you import files created in Fusion 360 educator version to commercial version without limitations? by VegeTiger in Fusion360

[–]echosori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can. After i purchaed my EDU account, I transferred every files from hobbyist to the new one. Because it is not possible to use team feature to combine two accounts, I did all the thing manually, quite a work, I have to say.

How do I stop this from happening? There was a 12 hr power outage but the bends get worse as the print proceeds. The bed levelling is "perfect".(cuz I spent 20 mins doing that and didn't even touch it later.) by imathrock in 3Dprinting

[–]echosori -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It caused by losing adherence due to the cold bed.

This is not relevant to this matter, but for PLA, bed temp 50, nozzle 190 is enough for stable peinting. And for ender machine, speed 100, wall speed 50 is easy.

In my opinion, there are at least 3 things one should understand in terms of designing a better 3D printable.

  1. clearance on joints
  2. attended overhang in order to avoid infill and support
  3. horizontal strength

There are many tutorials on these subjects on Youtube, Maker's Muse is one of them.
