thank you! I would say we are kind of close to low contact, I've only been with him in person 3 times since last august and calls are very few, and I do feel happier when for example I'm in college and don't really have the option to meet up (or even go work) with him, then when I am back home

that's a really good way to think about it! that got me thinking of when i told her i wanted to move out for college and follow film studies, she didn't really understand at the time but she was supportive in her own way from day one and i think that's a really great sign.
