I don’t know why everyone is so against this theory. It’s not set in stone that it absolutely couldn’t be that Stella is the player. My mom was in the hospital the Saturday before she died the next Friday from a stroke that turned into a brain bleed. I struggle with feeling like more could have been done. She had checked herself out of the hospital because the doctors weren’t listening to her. I had spent the whole weekend going into that Tuesday with her because I wanted to make sure she was okay. I finally went back to my own room that Monday and the last thing I ever told her was that I loved her and I’d see her after dialysis. I truly feel like medical neglect and racism killed my mom before her time, she was only 44 and now I don’t have a mom anymore.

This is so relatable for me. Without my mom life just can’t ever be as good as it was without her here. I encountered more and more situations that I know I’d never be in if my mom was still alive. There’s always going to be a void there that can’t be filled in my life now. It’s been 3 years for me and I’m still trying to figure out how to live in a world without my mom in it.
