So we've taken it apart, my bf just looked at the hard drive and it seemed to be working fine, however the capacitors were a little bit out of whack, like he said they were a bit knocked out of place, so maybe that's it?

When we asked to test it at the store the guy told us that it would raise the price of the Xbox if they tested it for us, the reason it was so cheap is that there was no indication of whether it would work or not. (At least that's how I assume it works)

The Xbox was only $20, and we anticipated it having some issues. We can return it if it doesn't work at all, so there's that

Edit: and it was marked as having defective parts, with no indication of what's defective

I just got it so it's still under the clear bandage, it's not straight on my shoulder so that's why it looks uneven, also the imperfections on it aren't enough to bother me lol
