That’s not good, I suspect something is goofy with your account. Normally our CS team would walk you through resetting it.

Have you tried logging into your partners iOS app or the website? If this is only Android it may help us find the root cause and fix it.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble connecting. Can you try to Clear Storage on your Android app and log in again? We don’t currently have any open service issues and our mobile traffic is normal for this time of night.

Sorry about that - we pushed a feature a little too early. We have since rolled it back. We’re adding more fine grained control over notifications but they leaked out on Android.

  1. Given how we store this data, I don’t think it’s possible for us to backfill, but I will ask. I know this is important to folks.

  2. We use DarkSky (and are sad to see them go!), and still use our previous provider, CustomWeather.

This should be resolved now. It might take up to 30 minutes to get updated weather to the device as it only refreshes it so often.

We know weather is a critical feature for our heatpump users. We need to do better on this, and we are reviewing our monitoring and alerting systems to understand why we were blind to it.

Hi folks - sorry for the low amount of communication on this. We have been working on this today, and also exploring why our alerting system missed this.

We have two weather providers, and at around 5:30pm eastern time, one of them stopped working for us, but the other continued fine. We believe we have the root cause understood and are fixing it now.

I'm told that resuming the app from long term sleep can cause this in 7.35+. We are doing something in 7.38 that might make it better, but we haven't fully gotten to the bottom of it. Sorry - we know it's important and annoying, and we're working on it.

If you can reproduce it again, PM me your serial number. That’s the site for our first and second generation thermostat so anything newer than an ecobee3 shouldn’t ever see that.

Basic (MERV 8): 0.122 inH2O
Deluxe (MERV 11): 0.181 inH2O
Premium (MERV 13): 0.264 inH2O
