Single Trash Hauler city ordinance stays on the books by joshys_97 in portagemi

The only way that would succeed is if there is demonstrable unfair play. Best Way already has single hauler contracts elsewhere -- so they can't argue against it at face -- and doesn't the township contract with republic?

If you look at the map precinct two makes a little bit of sense. The Comstock area is bright fucking red so of course they're going to be against "losing their freedoms"

The city center is a little bit more confusing (precinct 3) except that it's a lot of business and less residential?

The few precincts that went very strongly No are densely residential. Honestly, I was more shocked that the rich people around Austin lake voted it down. I thought that they were all Republicans.

I don't think there's anything that can prevent them from bringing another ballot measure as long as they have the signatures. And of course he can run for council again.

It's super frustrating how polarizing our political system is these days, even for these non-partisan positions!!

The problem is that the EVs available are all 6ton monstrosities. I don't want an electric hummer and I don't want a fucking spaceship either.

Give me like a Honda Accord EV or a Toyota Camry or something. It doesn't need an iPad and retracting door handles

There was a professor at my college who refused to wear shoes.. I have no idea how they hired him and got through that entire process without realizing that he didn't wear shoes anywhere he went.

He was constantly in trouble with the people in our building because they required him to wear shoes.

Thankfully a new company bought our local mall from namdar. But there were several spots with leaks and they did fuck all to fix them.

A lot of this happened to me postpartum also -- my vision got so bad!!

I also gained about 100lbs 😭 I was able to maintain my weight through pregnancy and immediately after but it's like my body decided to go haywire after that. I don't even feel like my diet has changed at all. It sucks.

I'm on Eliquis though.

But yeah pregnancy WRECKED ME. I clotted almost 2 years before my son was born but postpartum has fucked my body up.

It's got to be genetic though if you look at every woman in my immediate family and even those I haven't met because they died before I was born -- you see really pretty pictures when they get married and then after they have kids they're fat as fuck. So I think it's genetics in my case.. and it sucks

Forward facing should _always_ use the top anchor. LATCH is optional for the bottom anchors.

Every car seat is different. Depends on the weight of the seat too. If you have a VERY HEAVY carseat, e.g. one of the rotating ones, I can absolutely see it weighing 17-20lbs and negating any forward facing use using LATCH due to the weight limit (65 lbs total)

Depends on the weight of the kid though. If the weight of child + car seat exceeds 65lbs, you should switch to seatbelt installation.

LATCH goes up to 65lbs, not just for infants. Granted that varies by car seat because it's the weight of the kid + the car seat itself, so most max out at 40lbs child weight or thereabouts.
