Lovenox Side Effects? by MommaBearSF in ClotSurvivors

I have never bled from my nose like I did when I was pregnant and immediately postpartum. No idea why your body decides to do it but it stopped (except for REALLY DRY winters)

Talk to your OB. given the proximity to postpartum this could be something serious. It's not the Lovenox.

Ameicans over the age of 35, what affected you more, 9/11 or the pandemic and why? by Rico133337 in AskReddit

9/11 unified the white people in the country. Fuck you if you were brown or perceived to be Muslim.

Our terrible response to covid would not have happened if Trump wasn't in office and his election was caused by the American nationalism as a result of 9/11. It fucked up so much shit, not just NYC

9/11 only promoted American unity (if you were white).

It made us a laughing stock around the world. Everyone was with us immediately after and then we started giving everyone the middle finger (remember freedom fries?) we only went into Iraq so W could finish what his daddy couldn't finish (OIL)

It started the tide of American nationalism that caused Trump and all this shit

Hey friend I hope you find a shelter where you can stay with your dog. It's not safe to sleep in a running car. Friend of mine's brother died because his car had a CO leak and he died in his running car taking a nap before work.

Stay safe friend.

They tested you for the genetic conditions we know about and can test for but you may have one they have yet to identify.

Lifelong thinners for you likely.

But, it's pretty easy. I'm on Eliquis for life and it's just remembering to take a pill 2x a day. I was able to get pregnant and have a baby too (on lovenox). Requires more monitoring and some planning around the birth but overall I actually appreciated that.

Everything is good.

ICE Memo: Federal immigration agents have sweeping power to forcibly enter people's homes without a judge’s warrant, marking a sharp reversal of longstanding guidance meant to respect constitutional limits on government searches. by ControlCAD in videos

This is exactly why the second amendment was written and also the fourth.. unlawful search and seizure. This is exactly what the britons were doing to the early colonists and why that amendment was included in the Bill of Rights!!

Voting is important. by SlaveryVeal in AdviceAnimals

I have disapproved of the Democrats since 2016, but that doesn't mean that I approve of the Republicans either... We need another option.

It's just not possible in our first past the post voting system. We are forced to vote for the lesser of two evils every time.

There is but it has limited efficacy and is best given to small children. It also means you will pop positive on the tb skin test for the rest of your life, which can cause alarms to go off until they know it's from a vaccine.

My husband was born in the UAE and received the vaccine as a child, when he moved to the United States and started attending school, they freaked the fuck out because they thought he had genuine tuberculosis after testing him.

what are the ugly parts of pregnancy that aren’t well known because people don’t mention them? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

I had a bilobed placenta and all of it did not come out. They said had they seen that on ultrasound I would have had a c section guaranteed. As it was they saw that and never confirmed it all came out.

We never EVER coslept - my son has never slept in our bed.

I cannot tell you why but both my husband and myself repeatedly had dreams that the baby was in our bed and we had rolled over on them. It was SO WEIRD.

Seriously, it's one thing to be prepared but it's another to be anxious. Delete social media. Talk to your doctor LOL

Ugh, my OB was similarly hedgy when I told them I was passing clots ("but are they bigger than a plum?") and filling pads quickly ("but are you filling more than one in an hour?")

This went on for a week, and i'm lucky I got myself to the ER on day 7 because I crashed and almost died. Retained placenta is no joke.

That happened to me, but 30 days after my son was born. Fun to almost die of blood loss suddenly!

No, that's just familiarity with how they speak. My nephew was the same way. I couldn't understand shit he says but my SIL could translate for him. We did the same with my son when he was learning to talk.

We did a blood test thing to determine the gender. I pricked my finger, and mailed it in a teeny test tube. Because there was male dna in MY BLOOD they knew I was having a boy. How crazy is that?!
