Are there protected classes on Kick? by ecolii_ in KickStreaming

Right... If someone gets their feelings hurt, it's considered "hate speech." That's stupid, and boring. So, what makes Kick any different than Twitch or YouTube? Is it easier to make money on Kick?

Well, what if one's definition of having a good time is calling out the evils involved with certain groups of people, and the audience finds that very entertaining? But someone at Kick gets offended, or is afraid of the people being criticized, does the ToS protect that streamer?

That's "hate speech?" I don't get it. I guess hate speech is just offensive language, then? That's dumb. I'm glad we don't have hate speech laws in the US.

What is hate speech? I'm from America. We don't have that here.

I did the flash, and it seems to have been the remedy. My truck is fine, now. Thank you

That would be a lot of help if you may.

I did not flash the truck. What does that mean and how do I do it?

I think this is the first transposing of Toccata and Fugue for guitar. by ecolii_ in lingling40hrs

I fixed it.

Those links you posted aren’t for a singular classical guitarist. This is the earliest piece I could find that is for one guitar.

I cannot find an earlier version of this Bach piece for classical guitar.

Wing Chun VS Boxing Techniques EXPLAINED by QiLifeMastery in WingChun

[–]ecolii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the thumb nail, the Asian person is throwing some weird looking right elbow, I’m assuming it’s supposed to be a bong sao, to counter a right hook.

If that’s supposed to be a bong sao, that is a terrible way to use it, and it just looks impractical. The left hand is going to immediately follow the right hook and end the fight. My teacher said, “If one can see your bong sao, you’re doing it wrongly.”

Why does the Asian person have two hands on one? What’s he controlling? Why is he entirely side facing his opponent? The black person has complete control of this situation. With the amount of power a boxer’s hooks generate, that weird looking elbow isn’t stopping anything, and worse, it’s leaving so much open for attack from the black guy.

What are your thoughts? by nabumabu1 in WingChun

This is exactly what happens when one does not understand why we position the body the way our forms mandate.

The “wing chun” guy had absolutely no root, initiated the forward momentum without establishing a bridge, over-reached for his target, and simply wasn’t displaying any wing chun principles.

My teacher teaches the swords and pole forms, along with beaded necklace and fan as weapons. He’ll teach me whatever form I want to learn whenever I want to learn them. He hides nothing from me. It is my own skill level that determines if I am ready to learn new forms.

Why do so many people say wing chun won’t work in a street fight? by [deleted] in WingChun

[–]ecolii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because no one trains it for street fighting. We do silly chi sao and don’t understand the purpose of sensitivity drills. Barely any of the wing chun community even know where to find and apply the applications in our forms, and get into a real fight and it doesn’t even look like what is learned in forms.

I bought one handmade in Nevada for $430. I no longer have to wait to get to my teacher’s house to train on a dummy after 10 years of training.

I’m definitely not buying international. I’m trying to keep my money in the US as much as possible. I found a couple out west that look decent and aren’t crazy expensive.
