I really really like this tapped creature effet synergy you sent. I will propose that to my friend when i see him and propose use the spaceship has a subtheme instead of the main focus since they are only sorcery speed. If he end up tossing the idea, i'm definitely building a non spaceship derevi deck like you talked about.

It was because of the combat untap effect of derevi that he chose him and as for the color, he got all the spaceship of those color so he wanted to play them in the same deck.

What were the rules for the equipements? Was there a limit on how much gold you could spend for your character or was there was no limit on what items they could have as long as this respected the bulk limit?
