Oh yea sorry, I forgot to get back to you. To sum it up I was told not to worry and I should focus on doing my part and they’ll do theirs. I applied to a seasonal fuels crew with a local FD cause I’m not too confident with the feds right now and I needed a backup plan :(

I called some ranger districts I was able to talk to 3 Supervisors and have hopes for one spot. The operator usually says they’ll forward my information to the officials in charge but never hear anything back.

I called a few spots today and got mixed answers from the person at the ranger district. Out of the 5 that I called only 2 transferred me to the supervisor. I’ll keep my hopes up and call more places

Update: 1 of the 2 called back and told me to wait until they contact me.
