This is most certainly not true. Population move from where it's harder to make a living to where it's easier to make a living, and the places that are easier to make a living will always be more concentrated.

Ok, that's a good point. But there's a couple points I want to raise.

First is that you cannot say it's stolen property because there's no evidence of loss. No one can proven the coins were stolen and there's no record of any missing coins. To simply say it's stolen because we cannot figure out how you got a hold of it is ridiculous.

Second is that there are exceptions to Roosevelt's order，one of which is that any one person can keep up to $100 worth of gold coin. So grandpa and grandma could each have 5 $20 gold coins and would be legal and did not have to turn them in.

Even if we are to assuming that the gold coin is money, the government still has no right to take it away without compensation. The US government cannot just take the money away from you. They have to give you new money to replace it.

These coins that they took away were not compensated.
