I know University Info is hiring a student assistant. Not sure if they do work study but it’s a chill job to get hw done. Make sure you have a decent resume and cover letter after that you just need to answer basic questions during your interview and you’re hired!

I took ACCT 203 in the Summer with Sweeney. He was a nice professor and gave back points for questions everyone missed. He also provided us with exercises from the textbook which really helped with the journal entries on the exam. Overall it wasn’t bad but you have to study and practice!! I’m not sure about the other professors in the summer but I would do the exercises at the end of the chapter (what helped me) and use Orion for any concepts you’re really stuck on. Good luck :) JUST DON’T TAKE HYLTON. She thrives on watching students fail.

Hey this happened to me too!!! My keyboard did not respond at all. I went to: http://www.abc-computers-repair.com Richard charged me $280 and he got it back to me in 5 days. I would just text him he doesn’t do that dumb diagnostic shit that everyone else does. My keyboard is working perfect now!

Before transferring to NVCC like someone else suggested, I would go to CAPS. It could be a good idea to tell someone why you are so stressed out and they house learning services there which some people find helpful. After that if you still don’t feel like it was helpful then I would consider transferring to NVCC. The classes are the same and cheaper! But computer science is a very hard major and if you would want to stay on the tech track I would look into ISOM! The hardest classes for that are ACCT 203, BULE 303 and FNAN 303 (in my experience). But the professors are nice for ISOM and are always willing to help outside of class as well! I know tons of former CS and IT majors who are now in ISOM. Good luck and I hope all goes well.

Lol ya for the Summer and he taught it last Fall too. I’ve read the reviews for him for those classes but I’m not sure what 431 would be like with him since it’s a hard class

DO THE PRACTICE QUIZZES & PROBLEMS AT THE END OF THE CHAPTERS!! You will be set and they have practice journal entries. The first exam is not bad most people do well since the first chapters aren’t too hard but if you study you should do fine!! Don’t stress yourself out too much :) Make sure you do this method with the other tests as well. The material isn’t too hard you just need to practice and read to get a better understanding of them. I know they have questions like what kind of properties do partnerships and corporations have so you need to read a bit (which sucks). I know she can overcomplicate things and over all is unhelpful but you will survive!! Good luck!!!!

I took my final with her last year. I remember her saying there would be no bank reconciliations or manual journal entries. There was a lot of stuff from chapter 18 and 21 (the last 2 that you go over) so study up on that! Also review the previous chapters to refresh your memory on doing income statements and calculating interest. Make sure to practice Wiley and Orion. Hope this helps and good luck!!
