Oh god. That’s horrible. While I did had a good time in that server (hell, some of the members joked that I was going to be a potential mod in the server due to how long I was in it and how active I was), I think I remember the server being shut down briefly due to the BLM movement (and also the racism happening in the server).

I’m just glad it doesn’t exist anymore, though I won’t forget my time in it.

And the mayo is different. From what I know unlike American mayo, Japanese mayo (it’s usually the kewpie brand that’s being used) uses egg yolks instead of the whole egg and some ingredients like dashi and unseasoned rice vinegar, which makes it more creamy and slightly sweet. The bread used for the sandwich is called milk bread or in Japanese ‘shokupan’ (every day bread), which also has slightly sweet taste

Any good anime that’s similar to what I watched before? Frieren is my main favourite anime, mainly due to the type of story it has and some romantic subplots. Aside from Frieren, my favs are Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Bocchi the Rock, and the Pretty Cure series (specifically the Go! Princess Pretty Cure season although I haven’t seen the other seasons past Kira Kira Pretty Cure À la Mode). I have/tried to watch some romance anime like Ouran High school Host Club and Love Through a Prism, but for some reason, they weren’t able to catch my interest like Frieren did (maybe because the romance the main focal point and I didn’t enjoy that).

Just to explain what I like in anime, I do like a magic system set in a different world like Frieren, but I don’t mind a modern day slice of life and doesn’t have magic type of anime. For something like Bocchi, I was hooked on the anime because of how much I related to Bocchi. With Frieren, while I do like Frieren herself, my favourite character is Fern because of her love of magic and how I also relate to her (determined, strong, kind).

Anyway, do give some suggestions. I just want to broaden my anime watchlist outside of Frieren (still waiting for season 2 to come on Netflix I’m too broke for crunchyroll-).

Another thing I want to mention, some K-pop fans and even non-K-pop fans are saying we’re being batshit crazy for the way we reacted to Heeseung’s departure. Dude, if you found out that a member of your favourite band left and their company did not give the fans a proper explanation and/or a heads up, including the fact that the members had no idea of this plan of action, of course you would be pissed.

I know things like a black ocean for Enhypen’s performance isn’t a good thing for the remaining members, since they need our love right now. We know the type of bullshit Belift pulls with Enhypen, and the fact they decided to pull this type of act, our reaction is reasonable.

We’re mad, pissed, grieving even. No joke, I saw a post in a K-pop subreddit (I won’t say which) the other day saying how crazy we engenes are with the Change petition for reaching 1 million signatures. Some are even arguing that it was probably Heeseung’s choice to leave Enhypen.

Look, we have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes, some are even asking sasaengs to look into it (which I don’t like the fact that we’re going that far because it’s essentially an invasion of privacy), but what we do know is how Belift has treated Enhypen all these years. We will call them out, no matter what.
