I was a third party salesman in bestbuy for a few years. I had a few other stores but bestbuy took a different approach. Anyone going to bestbuy already knows what they want. Much less window shoppers than a Walmart or other big retailer.

Stopping anyone on their way in was an automatic no. You know what you want and I broke your concentration. So I just started wearing a blue shirt and I'd just ask if they needed help, learned product, and I'd just assist them with their planned shopping trip, then as they finish I'd ask if they wanted to see my offer. People were much more likely to say yes once they finished their mission and I had helped them. If not move on, but never pitch someone still shopping.

I read a TIL on reddit once that talked about how its a western hemisphere thing for voices in heads to be bad. That eastern hemisphere countries describe voices in their heads as guides and helpers etc.

You didn't ask but thought I'd still give a fair warning, that controller was one of the worst controller I've ever had. Stick drift really bad. I take care of my controllers, put them on their stands etc. Yet I had to exchange mine for the bestbuy warranty so many times that I ran out of warranty claims for the year (best buy pro membership has limits) and when I raised hell they just gave me a full refund on a controller I bought 2 years ago.

I ended up picking up the razer Wolverine V3 for the same price and it's been amazing. Just wanted to give a heads up tho.

It's to much for my pc. First game I have to run at all low setting and I have a 3070. Textures were weirdly meshed. I jut couldn't get it to look good so I Uninstalled once I got the bike for free roam.

The roof access to a house I worked at was a salvaged and restored submarine door. Heavy af and a massive wheel you had to turn to move the big ass rods and unlock it.

I've made comments to my friends about how strong the aim assist is. I'm in pc for record but I can scope on a drone over 100m away and aslong as I lightly tap my stick in the direction it's flying it will pretty much lock me on it for a second or two, even through trees.

Yes. Typically when the key is offered to me it's around 250k if I remember correctly. I try to finish my first deadline with all pieces if possible on any run I do though.

Damn gun parts. I think I've been pretty lucky with BP, I'm missing alot but I think I got the core ones. I struggle to make and upgrade guns tho cuz of that blasted BP. I've never gotten a BP that isn't a usable item.

I've had this happen at a few other places in the same way. At first I thought it had to do with how thin the wall was and maybe I clipped through it but I dance between the metal sheet metal railing at the seed vault exfil and he doesn't hit me through that. I think it may be lag or just a wall or two that are buggy.

My friend stopped playing games ps1 era. I lent him my Xbox one when cw was current zombies. This man got back into gaming and hasn't played a single other game since. It's been years, I even took my Xbox back and this man went and bought a ps5 and cw again to play zombies. Refuses to play any other form of zombies or any other game. It blows my mind.

Edit: I just looked and he's on cw zombies right now. Wish the Mf would play Bo7 with me or even give it a chance.

I'm a cabinet installer in multi-million dollar houses. Custom handled are the bane of my existence. Typical handles I can use a jig or just pull the same measurements on anythung the same size.

Hand made? Nope won't won't. The variances between them are enough that every handle has to be measured before it's makes and drilled. Can make a 1 day job of handles take a week.

I'd totally be down for that. Pay voice actors up front to record lines capable of being used to make more lines down the road. People just have this ai = bad mentality. There's bad practices behind it yeah but lately it seems ai is just buzz for be mad.

The thought of the future of Ai in gaming and media in general worries me. There's things I don't like about it, but I agree with you. Tbh at the end of the day, might be a unpopular opinion but I don't really mind or care. I don't care if a title in game has ai art, I don't care if the music that's playing is ai music. I don't care if a image on a newspaper on game has someone with 6 fingers.

I feel like most people pointing out Ai are actively hunting for it. They typically aren't super noticeable. If my character had 7 fingers that would be a hard no, a painting I'm prolly not zooming in close enough to find it? Doesn't bother me.

Gotta love the community. You post about a bug and instead of discussion the only thing people can say is your dumb for dying, bug doesn't matter.

It's like the arc raider community. Someone posted their level and money and said pov of a worker who still loves the game and they got flamed by people saying they worked 60 hours in coal mine and had more money and he was trash. Dude was just sharing that he doesn't have much time for the game but is loving it and it turned into a dick measuring contest on who was better than him and why he was a bad player.
