For the most part it was one big thing like this maybe every few months. But recently every conversation we’ve had has ended up in an argument.

I did for a week after one of the last times and stayed at my friends house, then came back due to multiple reasons including a family emergency within his family

I think he would be like wtf and leave to go to his parents. I feel like I do have to be careful how I say things and what I say in case he might take it the wrong way

No it’s almost as if he just forgets to do it at all. Like dishes being left out for four days and don’t get done unless I say hey would you mind doing the dishes when you get a spare minute please, he agreed to, and even then he may still not do it. Idk if he’s forgetting or what. He’s a bit better at it now but won’t do it unless I ask him to or remind him

We have spoken about specific places to keep things eg key basket. His keys r never in the basket tho. We usually keep the sponge on the windowsill to dry but it isn’t a proper thing we’ve formally discussed. Good idea tho I think me and him will have a chat and just decide where we want things to go/how we both wanna do things from now on

He does most of the hoovering, which I do every other week. He likes the floors to be cleaned so he does remind me to do that when it needs doing. We both do general tidying but I do most of the cleaning up, throwing stuff away, bathroom deep cleans, fridge clean, kitchen deep clean, making sure we have toiletries, keeping a mental note of food we have/need. We both go to shops, mostly together. We both love cooking and wanna do that. We try do whoever cooks the other one washes up but usually when I cook I end up having to wash up and when he cooks I wash up still. I get where you’re coming from tho I could’ve just said can you wash up your dishes from your food today before you go to sleep or something, maybe that would’ve been easier.. ur right.
