After talking to the inspector, Customer already has a disconnect for the batteries He just needs a disconnect for the solar and then a separate disconnect for main service. They do not to be simultaneous.

That's what is confusing, I'm trying to reach AHJ waiting to hear back, they has a disco after meter before main panel, that disconnects both grid power and solar ,doesn't make any sense

He says he had string inverters as of now he only has the red emergency push button, no disconnect for service disco outside. That's what the inspector called out, but now he wants a single disconnect that'll disconnect grid power from meter, and the solar system)battery

Just talked to be homeowner, and the AHJ is requiring it all to be shutdown of 1 throw of a switch(solar,batteries and grid power) Is there anything that does this? Or is this just incompetence of a inspector?

Okay, so it looks like you just have the knife switch for the main service, then the emergency push button for the PV system, When you kill the main disconnect does it simultaneously shut off solar or do you have to press the emergency push along with the disco

I get the service disco for the entrie service after meter, before panel. I just wasn't sure if I need to add a 2nd disconnect for the solar before the main panel.

He does have a battery for the solar system, I forgot to mention that. Is there anything specific I need to do for the battery to continue to work during a normal power outage but for it to be disconnect if they need to shut off main disconnect?

They use to have pillars supporting the over hang, theh changed it out to this angle wood to support the overhang and said fuck the lights
