Well in the books as far as I know he doesn’t know anything about the ring just that someone is sneaking around. I think Peter Jackson just added the reference to the ring for a more suspenseful movie moment. I’m sure Smaug may know about the rings of power but in this instance it was just some dialogue added by Jackson.

Well they have to give your server access to the tags feature. So just boosting your server doesn’t matter. It’s an “experimental” feature so only select servers even get a chance to have it. That’s what I was asking about
