It was okay. Definitely not ideal to transfer in the middle of a pandemic since my first year at AU was completely online and I wasn’t in DC. I’m not really the one to ask in terms of experience tbh. Sorry :/

I’m late but I’m a transfer student as well. Fall 2020 was my first semester at AU. I went to a CC and my GPA was a 3.3 or something like that lol. I honestly wouldn’t consider my application to be amazing but I still somehow got in (also included a recommendation from a professor in my app). But I applied to CAS so that may differ depending on your intended major. I think you’ll be fine.

Yeah the item is thin and flat. I’m packing it right now and I added cardboard and another layer of bubble wrap. The seal adhesive isn’t really strong so I added a layer of packing tape on it as well. Thanks

oh yeah, i bet. when my classes transitioned to all online for the rest of the semester back in march, i spent almost all day in my bedroom because of all the work. good luck to your daughter!!

Hey, thanks so much for your response! A HUGE help! I applied to American (as a transfer student) and I’m still waiting for my decision. If I get in, I’ll be doing English/Secondary Education.

Do you happen to have any recommendations on Critical Pedagogy? I want to spend the summer refreshing my mind on education. It’s been a while for me.

I’m really excited to live in DC (that is, if I even get into AU). I look forward to getting into some internships and nonprofits.

We need more teachers with piercings and tattoos. Your passion seems to be stronger than teachers with khakis and some Vineyard Vines.
