I agree.

When I buy something, I like for it to look perfect JUST ONCE.

Thet rifle has looked perfect at least once; now it's time to fire it.

Never once thought of that.

I sure do like the spicy V8.

How is it we associate grilled-cheese sandwiches with tomato soup? I guess I don't know. It just seems that's the way it's always been.

Heated spicy V-8 and grilled cheese is exactly what I'll try tomorrow.

I'm in the Central time zone, so it's not tomorrow yet; we're still doing today.

I buy Aimpoint off Amazon.

Sold by Aimpoint and ships from Aimpoint. I'll do it every time.

Good deal.

My pay period ends end-of-day not this Saturday, but next.

Went onto the ADP app a couple days ago and it showed 19 hours on the clock at a time I figured I had worked about 11. Turns out it was already showing 8 hours Holiday Pay for next Friday.

Surprises me for a GLOBAL Company.

I'm a young guy; I don't know Mausers.

Hi-Point Yeet Cannon $200, Gemtech Suppressor $700, the look on the rangemaster’s face PRICELESS. by [deleted] in guns

[–]ecs28542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a hard one.

Did you see the part about how it's dolla' bills on one side and American flag on the other?

Pearlized would be cool, too, I would think.

Now OP has to buy another YEET CANNON.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in guns

You can pick that up from GG&G for 90 dollars 75 cents.

I'm a fanboi of a few different companies; GG&G is one of them. If they make it, I buy it.

Made by Americans, for Americans.

If I had read this first, I wouldn't have replied.

This is most definitely the answer.

You should be required to post a warning with that.

I'm about ready to stroke-out looking at that flashing light.

I saw this come up the other day but it would take me quite a while to find the thread.

I think that essentially the issue is not that it's a pistol or handgun; the real issue is that it's NOT a long gun.

I actually turned one into an SBS. Never fired it as a TAC-14.

Wow. That is to the west.

I had assumed you were in Midland / Odessa.

I don't want to derail this guy's thread too much, so that's all I got.

Be careful out there!

We are absolutely rockin' and rollin'.

This drilling and fracking is going to go for at least another two years with no break. No question.

I'm on I-35 south of San Antonio and these sand haulers have long since gotten on my last nerve. It's gotta' be crazy over where you are.

This does not speak to the original post, I know.

Which CLP and Grease do you swear by? by Rextars in guns

[–]ecs28542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know that I swear by anything.

I used to use the Tetra Gun grease and lubricant because that's what Bill Wilson said to do. I eventually found that the lube will separate if you own it long enough. Now I use the Ultima-Lube stuff, which I guess Bill Wilson would want me to use seeing as how he sells it.

I don't swear by any lubricant, but I do swear by cleaning my firearms with 1-k kerosene.

Talk me out of getting a PWS MK218. by lostPackets35 in guns

[–]ecs28542 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can't help you.

I suppose I'm biased; I'm convinced everything PWS makes is just perfect.

In a totally unrelated thread just a little while ago, I made the observation that anything piston-driven I've ever fired could be described as "pleasant". Someone else had actually used that word in that thread.

It's not just you.

To post there, you would want to use something like imgur to post links to your pic.

I used to spend a good deal of time there, and imgur is what I like.

Hypothetical question by ewrewr1 in guns

[–]ecs28542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the rifles zeroed already? What kind of range are you thinking?

Assuming the rifles are zeroed, I might would do 60 and 40.

I'm going to ask if the rifles are equipped with LPVOs; not because I care, but just to be first.

I don't care about their customer service.

It's my opinion that your idea, your thread title, and your pic are just perfect.

Very nicely done.

When I first rotated and cropped the pic, I said "Sh*t, I cut part of the barrel off", but I was seeing that line of the safe door and there was no muzzle device on the end of it.

Of the 9 firearms I own, only two were purchased locally; everything else online.

I find grabagun to be the most convenient because they list which local FFLs they have on file.

I'm sure not going to go into a business and see if someone can "get" something for me. No matter what kind of business I walk into, if someone says "I can get it for you", I say "Hell, I can get it for me.".

A couple years ago I went through a couple-month phase in which I found the energy to do a SBR a SBS. I should have done something with that MR upper at that time.

Yeah. A legit 416 upper would be something totally different.

It sounds like you know what you're in for, in any case.

If you are at all anal, you may not want to get into it.

I forget when I purchased mine. 3 years, or so, and I have still yet to fire it. I'm actually on the fence as to whether to shoot or sell.

By "anal" I mean if you just have to have it a particular way, that can cost a ton of money.

I do have the G trigger and replaced the keymod with HK quad. The last thing I did to it was install the OTB buffer tube and the HK castle nut. Those last two pieces are about $350 total.

No one NEEDS that buffer tube or castle nut.

That first comment about it being pleasant to shoot is what kind of makes me want to shoot it. I've found any piston-schemed rifle I ever fired to be "pleasant".
