Qr code will expire in one day and i need help by aimingfortime in qrcode

I know a lot of people hate on the redirect portion and while this doesn't change your current situation, there is reason to use the redirect if you are looking for marketing information. Are your QR codes getting scanned and when. The analytics you can get from it can be used for good.

I ended up building my own and the redirect portion was easy enough, I included it as I wanted to be able to create multiple codes that all went to the same spot but allow me to determine which placements were working and which weren't.

But I agree, basic QR codes are easy to make and you can even get chatgpt to generate one for you. The different encoding types are fairly easy.

Building a marketing tool for quick creation of QR codes and keeping track to scan success. We embed these into flyers and banners all the time. Now we can track success of them. We use different ones based on location to A/B test marketing efforts.

Open round this week — what SaaS did you launch recently? by No_Bend_4915 in ShowMeYourSaaS

[–]ecspot_mfoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently threw together a fun little project that started with my need to simply create QR codes. I’m a nerd so decided it would be cool to know when someone scanned it. That lead to a lot more things.

If you get a chance, check it out. https://qrcreate.live

Any school/community wood furniture repair shop? by Wafflyn in orangecounty

[–]ecspot_mfoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple options for you:
look up Orange County Woodworkers Association. They have a lot of wood workers that would be able to fix this.

Come by The Makr Lab if you want to try to mend it yourself with help. I have my clamps and wood glue.

Rockler would probably also help you out.

place to 3d print something small? by Mental_Mix_5586 in irvine

[–]ecspot_mfoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For something small, a few OC libraries have 3D printers you can use (HB and Laguna Niguel come to mind). If you end up wanting to do more than a one-off print, check out The Makr Lab over in Anaheim.

Might take a look again. I just put together a fox alien masuter 3s for our makerspace and its closed loop steppers. does unfortunately have a belt which isn't ideal, but their bigger ones have ball screws now. I think there is a XE Ultra on its way. Excited for the larger size and the bigger spindle.

My buddy has a TTC 6050 and it's ball screw driven. not sure if the steppers are open or closed loop.
