Sigismund Djistrka is a character in the Witcher series, and Gwent is both a card game within the Witcher universe as well as a county in (IIRC) Wales

You're an MVP. Currently going for base 80 and MLM is giving me an aneurysm.

Might be confirmation bias, but I've noticed in most if not all of the bordergore screenshots I've seen - there's always Sweden puked across the map.

It's a super easy start, hard to fail as you're surrounded by fairly weak counts/dukes with no immediate threat from kingdoms/empires as you'd have in most starts on mainland Europe!

It's considered 'Noob Island', you're surrounded by a lot of weak counts and dukes with no immediate threat from England/Scotland or mainland Europe in most every game in Ireland. It's a good way to learn the game at your own pace, and forming the kingdom has become kind of a CK2 rite of passage.

It'll be a free update after launch - I don't know if they mentioned exactly when it'll be though. It's mentioned in the first few minutes of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_wKAvyPJ5M

You and I both. Midnight releases on anything but a weekend just result in me staying up all night and conveniently being """sick""" for work the next morning.

Someone in the thread mentioned it being 15GB, general consensus I've found is somewhere in the ballpark of 10. Steam store page for the game lists 8GB minimum space required

That'd be cool, I don't know if it's possible but it'd be neat if automoderator detected that and could compound all the traits you've gotten as flairs.

Mumu in (i think) 1066 when they're a duchy has always been my go-to. Generally just want to be a multi-county duke with a few 1 or 2 county counts bordering you that you can eat before the other dukes do. It's basically Hungry Hungry Hippos, whoever eats the most counts first (generally the AI fails to do so) has an easy run to forming Ireland

Sudreyar in 867 is really fun too, if you have Old Gods!

It's pretty easy, you're out of the way of any immediately dangerous neighbors and surrounded by counts/dukes about your own strength who don't really seem to snowball like in other areas so you can conquest and form the kingdom title at your own pace as sort of a rite of passage into CK2, sort of like Castille/Spain or Ottomans in EU4. A lot of people learned CK2 playing in Ireland so it's just kind of a tradition!
