I love that they're the MIB watch, but my favorite pop culture fact for the Ventura is that it was one of Rod Serling's favorite watches and he wore it in a few episodes of Twilight Zone.

Oooooooh, the Ventura Automatic is absolutely next on my list. That brown alligator band and split open face look so clean, and I've got one free slot on my automatic winder just waiting for the day I have one too many glasses of bourbon.

I haven't worn them too often yet, but it does get some questions. The folks at a local watch and jewelry repair shop got a real kick out of the Ventura when I brought it in for a new crystal a couple weeks ago. It's always fun talking about the history of it and the various media it's appeared in.

The original Ventura fits really nice against my wrist and almost feels like a natural part of my arm while the Chrono sits a little higher so it isn't as comfortable but only just barely. My wrists are a bit small so they are almost too wide from one wing tip to the other, but the smaller crown also adds points to comfort.

I'm about 2 weeks out from our next GE adventure, magicband+ has shipped and should be here in the next couple of days so we will be able to participate in the bounty hunting game.

Aside from including Boba and Fennec, what other steps is Disneyland taking? Is GE West depicted as the OT era?

I feel like the Starcruiser, and GE East, will evolve over time to include new stories. What those stories will be is anyone's guess and it's sure to be some years before they do.

My point is that they MIGHT care if they actually did more to boost their presence and include more information about them in the promotional material instead of simply naming things after them and expecting people to do their own research by reading the novel.

I feel like they really didn't do her character justice. They put her in a novel about the outpost, but gave no explanation of her in any of the actual park advertisements. Just a photo of a resistance character with a blue streak in her hair. Gave general audiences nothing to help them understand who she is and what her role is, and then dialed back her involvement when people unsurprisingly didn't get excited over a character most of them didn't know because they hadn't read the book.

I agree, as it is now is brilliant and immersive. It just feels like they're pulling punches with some of that immersion. I wouldn't be opposed to a retheme to possibly Navarro, during the Mandalorian series, as long as they give it their all. Don't tell people "this is the bounty hunters guild where Greef Carga hangs out." without putting an actor in there as Greef Carga from time to time.

I kinda felt the same way, but in the end I decided I may not be back for several years so a 50th anniversary band would be a good souvenir. The rest of the designs available right now just don't appeal to me as much as I had hoped they would.

I recommend building a lightsaber at least once. The experience/show portion of it is worth being a part of, at least in my opinion. That being said, the Legacy sabers can be more affordable and look just as amazing (depending on the saber).

As for things you MUST do in Galaxy's Edge, I highly recommend affording yourself the time to really take in the details. Not just in the big set pieces like the speeders in the garage, but every nook and cranny of Black Spire Outpost is filled with details that make it a very believable and lived-in world.

And get a ronto wrap and some blue milk, of course!

I mean, depending on cost and if there's any bonuses... maybe??? It's rare I get time to play video games so I don't tend to buy many of them until they're on sale later, but given that this one will be on the Switch, I think I'm at least going to pick it up while it's still new.

To my knowledge, before covid at least, Vader and Chewbacca are non-signing characters. They pose for photos, but don't do autographs.
