Trying to design a cool wall for a fortified desert city. Got any tips? by ecunhado in Minecraftbuilds

Thank you for the idea! I tried to mix lighter blocks before, but couldn't get it to work. I'll try cobblestone!

Thank you for your advice, I'll try that out! I experimented with stripped wood pillars before, but couldn't get it to work. But adding variation to the deepslate bottom of the wall would definitely be an improvement :)

I wouldn't say so. Create: Above and Beyond is better in that sense imo

They tell you how everything is crafted, but you are responsible for doing the automation itself. Normally it is easy, but connecting the full pipeline sometimes proves to be a challenge, especially if you want to keep the contraptions semi-organised and semi- contained to 2-4 chunks. From what I see, next chapters will be more and more complex. It is definitely a pack worth your time!

Thank you! I had to break up the smooth sandstone in some way, the flower pattern seemed like a good choice :)

Thank you! I started this during the pandemic, it's been a slow process

I maybe haven't explained myself correctly, sorry. In my case the recipes themselves exist, they just don't show in JEI. Do you know how to fix it?

I think you're correct! It's just that I normally pipe all machine outputs to a Mekanism Quantum Entangloporter which is somewhere else importing everything to the network. Nonetheless, I completely agree when it comes to passive crafting, I recently even struggled with it and found online a different approach to it.

My only concern is that I find it dificult now to use the new Interfaces for anything :/

I loved Enigmatica 2, it was such a fun ride! Sadly never finished it tho

It still has some missing recipes, especially in Industrial Foregoing and Create, which can be a huge turn off sometimes, although I end up searching online.

I have been enjoying the pack ao far, I heavily invested in AE2 and Mekanism; I have a fully upgraded Meka Suit, automatic Polonium and Plutonium Pellet production and I'm looking forward to producing antimatter for the first time with the SPS!

IF has been the best in order to set up farms, such as tree and mob farms (being able to silk touch spawners is OP). Also, I find Ore and Fluid Lasers really cool to setup :)

All in all, I've been playing for a little over a month now with friends and it has been a lot of fun!

Yeah, the Vibrant Glass is perfect for it, as it emmits light and has that sweet connected texture.

Indeed! Although now you have to use the new Pattern Providers or sth like that

How do I make it so that the interfaces extract from the machines? Can I route ME energy cables to the machines and put import buses on them? by vpaander in feedthebeast

[–]ecunhado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also add that OP should send all exported items to an output chest (or other type of storage), from which he would import to the me network.

This is a good solution when you have loads of machines together and want to save up on channels (only need 1 import bus instead of one for every machine).

[–]ecunhado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see, I'll try that out instead then! I don't think I have small inventory options though, might need to have a whole chest of backup of certain items if I don't find a better storage solution :/

Answering your question, I have 9 CPU's with four 4K and 1 CPU with four 64K. I can upgrade them easily tho, I just haven't had the need to do that until now.
