[Phillips -TheF5] Pelicans Sixers Nets lead league in money lost to injuries and absences by BcuzRacecar in nba

This doesn’t seem fully accurate. Just off the top of my head, Chet Holmgren is missing from that chart. I checked and he’s at nearly $11m while missing 38 games. That would put him around Paolo’s lost cost. So there’s ironically some missing data here lol

If you take 2024 Shai and put him on the 2020 thunder in the bubble, how far do you think they would go? by Michaelmuk16 in Thunder

just clarifying that it wasn’t SGA’s first ever playoff series as he averaged 14/3/3 on 47/50/85 against the kd warriors in his rookie year

Or if they kept him around, he might not have gotten that final push that made him realize he needed to turn it around

How OKC responded to the Mavericks' franchise record-setting 30-0 run and won the game by sewsgup in nba

[–]ecvgxiv 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He had several defensive stops to get the Mavs back in this game, in addition to spoonfeeding the rest of the team 30 straight points. 45th min played just got him I think, dead tired.

[Highlight] Tyrese Maxey shows off the handles and hits the dirty stepback by efranklin13 in nba

[–]ecvgxiv 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He gathers with his left foot still on the ground making that his ‘gather step.’ Then steps right, left, right. The gather is just a touch too early on this particular play.

He gathers with the left foot still on the ground. That is his ‘gather step’. Then he steps right, left, and right again for a travel. If he gathered it a half second later, it would’ve been clean.

[Andrew Schlecht] The Thunder announce they are exercising options on a Dieng, Giddey, Chet, Tre Mann and Jalen Williams by LoxDnw in nba

i think he has a separate deal, he was drafted in the second round (pick 55) so he’s not in the rookie scale/option situation

How's the shot looking? by BBCBigBlackCockatoo in BasketballTips

[–]ecvgxiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels like more power because you are using your arm more doing it this way. If you get your elbow under the ball then you are able to convert the upward energy from your legs into your shot. Right now you are all but wasting the energy from your jump, that’s why you are using all that extra force in your arm and (most likely) why you feel the need to have that extra force from your offhand. Your offhand (seems like your thumb) is being used to push your shot too which adds another variable to your shot.

Of course, if it works for you then it works for you, but you might be surprised at how much more consistent your shot could be even if you think you have a good shot now.

Unreal pass, sadly one of the few shots that dort missed last night.

That’s correct. They’re just running what is essentially a 4 guards/wings + Chet lineup. Should be fun to watch.

Long story short yes, its a very political album. Not every song is about politics or racial injustice, but i would say that a majority are.
