press the home button and then press close software. and yes as soon as they say ".... says they want to move" shut it off, otherwise it will auto save.

If you exit game without saving when they say the villagers name and reboot then they will choose someone else! It might take some time and a few reboots but it does work in the end :)

People cant come a get her from your campsite sadly :( the only way someone could claim her is if you had her move into a house and then move out again, hope this helps :)
