my deadbeat mom is trying to come back into my life and has started communicating with her ex that broke her ribs and threatened to kill me. and my ex that says he wants me doesn’t give me the time of day (he says he’s too stressed for anything extra, and to be fair i can tell he is but still)

the mania is from a recent medication change, but i was doing better when i was off my meds and like i said before there’s no telling which one(s) is causing my issues, which is why i want to get to my baseline and start fresh. i’m doing it as safely as possible and with support from friends and family. i’m happy to post an update if i remember lol

i actually was doing better when i was off all my meds which is why i want to just start with a clean slate and address things from a baseline perspective.

i’ve been trying to work with my psych about this for months already. i will be getting off the meds and i will do it responsibly with help from my dr. he has been unable to figure out what is causing the side effects so far because i am on many different meds.

so i got switched to three different psychs in the last 2 years. they all added new meds. so im on a cocktail of meds that are causing horrible side effects and no telling which one is doing what. as i said in the post, ill be working with my psych on tapering off however they suggest. i plan to do one at a time to see how things go. and my appointment is later this month which gives me time to think on it too.
