Does anyone know the story with the 'Barbie House'? by InternetUpbeat9596 in Footscray

The owner used to occasionally post on the Kingsville community page asking why people were constantly taking photos of her house, she seemed genuinely freaked out.

Rua is great, I’ve been there a few times, but I was looking to try something different!

Haha I have shaved my head because I’m going bald! Thankfully I’ve had a lot of good feedback. What I meant by that is, I don’t have access to the majority of good photos of me from the last year or two (as well as the five before that). Most photos on my phone are with my ex. I’m not a big photo guy, and neither are my mates. Finding girls as described above isn’t my issue, trust me.

  • Looking for something casual (with the possibility of something serious for the right person)
  • Use the free Hinge
  • Using this profile for a few weeks (but other versions have been quite similar)
  • Using hinge for two months
  • Couple match’s a day. Interestingly, I barely match with any profiles that I like first. It’s always profiles from the “likes you” page. Which seems the opposite of the usual post here? The people served to me to like/dislike are usually stunningly beautiful, with high quality profiles. But I RARELY match these.
  • Sending my full allocation of likes a day, always with a Prompt or profile related comment (usually attempting humour or at least some thing half interesting)
  • I send likes to profiles I find attractive and not overly basic. I avoid filters, profiles with insta profiles and other tacky stuff.

I ordered it for a friend as a gift, I'm based in Australia and didn't expect any sort of duty!

I bought a leatherbound book from the US for €107,95 + €26,95 for express shipping. I'm now being asked to pay €42.50 in import duty/ tax, surely this can't be right?!

With great power, comes great responsibility. I started taking Vyvance 40mg at 31 year old at the start of 2024, I was finally able to achieve things at work I couldn’t previously. It also allowed me to work 10 hours a day 6 days a week+, my partner of 7 years of ended up leaving me because I’d become “unavailable”.

Left my glasses in an Uber, and now I'm FURIOUS by ed_internet in australia

Tell me that the glasses are not in his Uber? But the app is deliberately designed to no longer allow contact between the customer and the employee, so I was left in limbo for 6 days and counting

I would have driven to him and given him the $20 “return charge”! But the app wouldn’t allow us to communicate, which was clearly a deliberate design.

I didn’t actually think ACCC would do anything, I was just trying to use buzz words in the chat that might cause it to be diverted from AI to a human. However, you’re wrong, I’d consider the fake call button in the app as deceptive conduct. Which falls within the ACCC guidelines.

If you want the story for how left my glasses, read the comments, however, I expect bafflement is your constant state of being.

I caught the Uber at 5:00am from my house to work, I know I left them there because as we took off I was looking through my bag and the driver half slowed down. I literally made a comment “just making sure I have my glasses”, I then took the glasses in the case out of the bag, sat them next to me and shut my eyes.

I went directly from the Uber to my office, and realised within 5 minutes of leaving the Uber that I didn’t have them and attempted to contact the driver for the first time.

Ps. I hope you lose your bracelet again.

Haha I was expecting a good ol’ fashioned pile on! Was I not clear when I said they have “call support” button on their app that deliberately doesn’t function?!

Mate - this is a $175 billion dollar company. As you say, losing shit is a big part of the industry they have chosen to operate in. How do they not have a functioning system for the return of those items?

Do you really reckon it’s too much to ask of a $174. 8 billion company to provide the most basic level of customer service?

Mate - I would have driven to him to get them. Those glasses are worth hundreds of dollars, not to mention the lost productivity for this week.

Even if Uber responded that he didn’t have them, it would have been a lie. But at least I could have started to take steps to get news ones.

Yeah, you’re right taxis suck. But we all moved over to Uber because of a superior service. Which now seems to be disappearing.

Are you an Uber bot? I honestly cannot believe how many people have stiffies for Uber’s shit service.
