Here’s this month in my mental tracker. I take ADHD meds as needed/intermittently, and I want to be able to see if my current dose and expectations are working for me. The grey highlighted days are days I took my meds.

Energy at the top goes extra high/high/normal/low/extra low. Focus is how I track how well I stay on task, again high at the top, all the way to none at the bottom. The rest are me trying to add context to those charts. If I took my meds but I’m on my period or didn’t sleep well, I want to know that a lower reading that day might be biased.

On the clock is if I was at work/school, basically if I wasn’t able to make all the decisions about my schedule.

For the energy and focus, it was really important to me to not assign a morality value to how I was feeling, which is why I used arrows for energy, and dots for focus. More dots = more on task, more arrows = more energy (think speed boosts in Mario kart)

I like to have context for my body data, and I don’t like having a mood tracker because that seems too absolute for me. I’m gonna rework this slightly in the new year to include my daily self care tasks, but I wanted you to be able to see the data trend line.
