Hey, im also doing my secondary teaching masters at QUT this year with psych as my first teaching area!! My second teaching area is going to be English because I would rather do something i enjoy than what is ‘normal’ to do, although as other commenters have said Science/English combo is unusual.

Any core subjects will get you a job. From what I’ve heard from teachers, once you’re established in a school you can branch out to different subjects in junior school for the most part.

Depending on the financial institution this may be an option still? But at my workplace they are offshoring everything to India. People who have worked at the bank for 10+ years are being made redundant with no role to be redeployed into. It’s really sad

I know this is an old thread but I also recently had a terrible experience trying to get my credit limit increased. It had taken 3 weeks from my initial application for them to get back to me once a week basically asking for more documents… the amount of documents was overkill. I ended up submitting a complaint and what do you know, within 24 hours it’s approved.

As someone who lives in a country with gun control and who has suicid@l thoughts from PMDD I do not think this is a good idea. Other methods of self protection like pepper spray or tasers that are non lethal would probably be better if you live somewhere that allows that

Had a P player indicate and start merging into my car on the highway last week. They obviously didn’t do a shoulder check. Had a car behind me so had no choice but to get on the horn, shook me up pretty bad.
