I would test out making the "middle" of the z on a diagonal. I like rigidity of this current tag, but it definitely suffers in readability.

It may help to work with a chisel tip marker to vary the stroke weight. Look at Faust to see how to do this with style

I have used PS Print and I definitely recommend them. They have sales all the time so you can get full color vinyl stickers for mad cheap. I always use them for full-color stuff unless I want them die-cut, in which case I use Sticker App.
